His Prairie Princess by Kit Morgan- A Review

I just finished reading a wonderful read the other day and wanted to share it with y’all. His Prairie Princess is an enjoyable, quick read with only 12 chapters. You get drawn in immediately and, if you’re like me, you’ll end up reading it in one sitting. The book opens with a kidnapping and a rescue, but the action doesn’t stop there and keeps you entertained until the end. The story takes place in the peculiar town of Clear Creek, Oregon, which happens to boast several interesting residents. I’m so glad that this is a series because this first installment leaves you wanting to get to know the town more!

Sadie Jones is the daughter of mighty cattle baron, Horatio Jones. You could say she’s a princess of an empire. Sadie has lived an easy and comfortable life on a large ranch, where her only heartbreak is the result of not knowing her mother. She hatches a plan to set out on her own to find her dying mother before it’s too late, but she never imagined that the stage would be robbed and that she would be a kidnapping victim!
Harrison Cooke knows how conduct himself in any situation, having been raised by his English mother to be a proper gentleman, on top of learning how to farm and survive in the rugged west. Harrison’s only concern that morning was making sure he reached the stage in time to collect some mail he was expecting. Little did he know that he’d end up having to pull off a rescue mission…. In order to rescue the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen before.

Will these two be able to protect each other and the ones they love, all the while protecting their hearts? Read and find out! ;)

I highly recommend this book! It’s entertaining, enjoyable, and keeps you interested. The characters are well developed and very relatable. Harrison is an interesting twist to the western hero, being of English decent. The majority of the characters show a great Christian spirit of forgiveness and charity. This book is labeled as a “sweet romance”, meaning the book doesn’t have bad language or explicit sex scenes. There’s a touch of innuendo, but nothing that would have you clutching your pearls. ;) I look forward to reading the rest of the series just as soon as I can get my hands on them. Kit Morgan has been added to my “Must Read Authors” list.
