Barbara Goss is an absolute machine when it comes to turning out great stories. She recently released the first book in her new Mail Order Misdelivery series, “Dan McCall’s Bride”. This book tells Dan and Leila’s story. On Leila’s way to meet her intended as his mail order bride, Dan McCall, a federal agent, finds her lying on the side of the road unconscious. He rescues her and she attaches her heart to him immediately. The problem is, Dan is NOT the marrying kind...or is he? Joe, Leila’s intended, is not happy to lose yet another mail order bride, and takes drastic measures to insure their marriage. Leila faces a dilemma, risk the man’s life that saved hers or marry a man she despises.
We first met the Dan McCall character in Goss’ “The Housekeeper’s Proposal (Heroes of Hays Book 4)”. Dan comes into the story serving as the investigating Marshall to help solve a murder case. We get a pretty good glimpse of Dan’s character in this novel, so I was happy when I heard that Dan would be getting his own book. As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Barbara has roughly 30 books under her belt and each and every one of them is unique and well written. Barbara certainly has the talent for crafting interesting and satisfying stories. I look forward to her next book. ;) Get the book here: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B0746BM9YB&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_jrhQzbZ8A4ZVX
